This Privacy Policy describes how Kash ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your financial data remains secure.

In short: Kash stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal or financial information. Period.

Kash does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
We do not collect financial account numbers, passwords, or credentials
We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any tracking technologies
We do not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs

💾 Data Storage

All financial data you enter into Kash is stored exclusively on your device using a local database (Hive). This includes:

Transactions, accounts, and categories
Budgets, goals, debts, and bills
App settings and preferences
PIN lock data (stored locally, never transmitted)

No cloud servers, no syncing, no remote storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

🔒 Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone:

No data is shared with third-party services or partners
No data is sold to advertisers or data brokers
No data is transmitted to our servers (we don't have servers)
No advertisements are displayed in the App

📤 Data Export & Deletion

You have full control over your data at all times:

Export your data as CSV or JSON backup from Settings
Clear all data at any time from Settings → Clear All Data
Uninstalling the App permanently removes all stored data from your device

⚙️ App Permissions

Kash requires minimal permissions to function:

Storage — Only used for local data backup and CSV export
Internet — Only used to load Google Fonts for typography

Kash does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, GPS location, call logs, or any other sensitive device features.

👶 Children's Privacy

Kash is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no data is collected from any user, this applies universally.

🛡️ Security

We take the security of your financial data seriously:

All data is stored in an encrypted local database on your device
Optional PIN lock provides an additional layer of protection
No network transmission means zero risk of data interception
The App does not contain any hidden data collection mechanisms

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
